All of our artists did incredible fine line tattoos and even added extra details to some flash tattoos. They were all very honest about their capabilities and what they thought would look best. My artist, Priscila, was incredibly sweet and patient as I moved my design and changed the size until I was confident. She continuously checked in on my comfort level and took extra precautions to be sanitary and safe. Highly recommend coming here for any tattoo needs!

Experiencia negativa: Been in Barcelona for a couple days and just happened to see some of their walk in tattoo designs and saw a design I liked. Customer service was all good. Priscila was very nice and lovely and it took like 10 minutes to set things up. Hygiene: it was questionable but overall not too bad when I walked in (I mean that the chair didn't have a foil over it but honestly I don't care much about that). She applied the stencil and asked if I liked it (I did). And then she started tattooing without shaving the area first (the tattoo was on the inner forearm so it wasn't hairy that much but all areas should be shaved). Honestly I'm not even sure if the area was disinfectant first at this moment. During the tattoo I felt the needle pulling a lot (could be due to too high or too low voltage of the machine) but I was in my little happy state so I didn't say anything even regarding the hygiene which is my mistake. Turns out she ended up cutting my skin on 8 different places. Now, that the tattoo is healed, I can clearly see the scars and there's some spots where there's just no ink. After a day or two after getting the tattoo fone I noticed the inflammation that just kept getting worse (for me, the inflammation stops after a day max). Turns out my tattoo got infected even though I took a good care of my tattoo (this wasn't my first so I knoww what I'm doing). Overall the customer service was good but the tattoo I got out of it is not unfortunately. And while I'm a part of this as I should've said something, I do aslo believe that as a tattoo artist you shouldn't really have to have someone tell you about the mistakes. I'm not sure why but I can't see the option to add photos
Hi Anne Marie, I'm sorry to receive this review from you, although I can see from the photos you attached that the tattoo has not completely healed. In any case, I am going to detail and explain each of your observations. Because I think you don't have enough information, and I have 16 years of experience.
First of all (as can be seen in the attached photos) the tattoo has not completed its healing, and I can attest that it has also happened to me in some tattoos that were applied to me and the regeneration process of the new skin gives a whitish appearance that opaque the blacks. After a few weeks you will be able to see it more defined.
Secondly, there are areas that do not require shaving, as is your case on the inside of the arm. In this case it is preferable not to use razor blades as it would cause more irritation to the skin, and then during the healing process, due to the attempt to grow a hair without force, it could generate small pimples on and around the tattoo.
Finally, use a sterile and waterproof field on the support area of your arm.
When placing the stencil we disinfect the area to be tattooed, and then the same liquid with which I apply the stencil also contains alcohol.
I would like to add that the work area is completely disinfected at the end of each tattoo... and always at the end of the work day (I attach a photo of the cleaning sheet)
Also mention that a tattoo done during vacation may have irregularities in care and hygiene, since you do not have all the comforts to do it.
It is worth adding that the scabs seen in the photos are within normal healing parameters.
In any case, if necessary, we always offer a free touch-up starting 20 days after the tattoo is done.

Experiencia fantástica: De passage à Barcelone avec notre croisière nous avons décidé de faire nos 4 tatouages en commun chez Le Mat tattoo, un bon accueil, hygiène au top, Diego a été très gentil et a fait son maximum pour communiquer avec nous en anglais ! Experiencia fantástica: Super friendly, accommodating and very hygienic! I got my first ever tattoo here and Priscila was my artist, she drew the design I wanted and it was perfect! I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. If you ever happen to visit Barcelona and decided you want to have a permanent souvenir, don’t hesitate to visit their studio! Amazing artists!
