Experiencia fantástica: My boyfriend and I decided to visit here for the tattoos that we wanted to get while backpacking. We got Steffe to do our tattoos because we found her work on Instagram and saw that her fine line work was impeccable. Let me tell you, in person, it's even better! We were originally going in for one tattoo each and came out with two! Steffe's work with handwriting is the best I have ever seen. The attention to detail was unlike any other tattoo artist I've had. The customer service we experienced with Steffe was amazing as well as with all other individuals at Meatshop Tattoo. 10/10 recommend for all hoping to get tattooed in Barcelona.

Experiencia fantástica: Traveling in Barcelona from Canada with my daughter I decided to get my first tattoo by the artist, Steffe, that my daughter was going to go to. I had my daughters handwritten ‘allons-y’ and a passport customs stamp done to start a sleeve of our trips together. Steffe was amazing, she explained everything and provided a great experience for my first time getting a tattoo. The ambiance, cleanliness, the whole process was a pleasure. Im looking forward to going back to Steffe in June for a flash piece, and second passport stamp.

Experiencia fantástica: I had the pleasure of getting a tattoo on my leg by Joan. An awesome swordfish. His perfectionism shows in his eye for details. Look at the details! He took all the time he needed and yet it didn't feel rushed, allthough he finished the large and detailed piece in a few hours. Additionally, a very friendly and funny, talkative dude. Hope to see you again some time for another fish or sea creature Joan! 10/10 would recommend Btw, the shop is beautiful, clean and in a nice location.

Experiencia negativa: After a little research me and my friend wanted to get tattooed while on vacation. Don’t get me wrong, the place was very nice and clean and the service was ok. Not perfect but not bad. We decided to get a matching tattoo on our ankle and she got some designs on her hand. It was really nicely done. But the problem was when we got back home from vacation. Her hand tattoos literally fell of while washing her hands. She had to get them redone I Denmark (where we live) less than a month after. Her ankle tattoo I barely there (a very thin see through line) while mine is only a little bit more visible. Mind you it was only almost a year ago :/

Regarding the fading of your tattoos, especially on hands and ankles: these areas are naturally tricky for fine line work. The skin is different, and tattoos there are exposed to a lot of friction and washing, which often causes lines to heal lighter or fade more quickly than tattoos on other parts of the body. For that reason, we always explain that fine line tattoos in these spots may require retouching.
Our approach is to tattoo lightly at first to avoid blowouts and spreading, which leaves room for a safe retouch if needed. We also offer free touch-ups for exactly this reason, as we want your tattoos to look their best long term.
If you ever visit Barcelona again, please feel free to reach out—we’d be more than happy to freshen up your work.

Le dessin de mon tatouage a été réalisé exactement selon mes directives, avec des conseils très pertinents qui m’ont permis d’affiner mon projet. L’accueil a été chaleureux et très hospitalier, on se sent vraiment à l’aise dès l’arrivée. La communication en amont par mail a été simple et efficace, même avec l’utilisation d’outils de traduction. La prise de rendez-vous s’est faite sans difficulté. Experiencia fantástica: Bien que mon projet m'était en tête depuis un certain temps, j'ai profité de mon voyage à Barcelone pour le concrétiser. J'avais fait des recherches en ligne pour y trouver un tattoo shop sans rendez-vous. Quelques shop étaient intéressante, mais après vérification de leur site Instagram et de leur site web, mon cœur m'a parlé. Je l'ai écouté ce aujourd'hui, et il avait raison. Un espace convivial dans l'esprit d'un tattoo shop qui se respecte. Des mon arrivée, on me considère et m'accueille en Espagnol, voyant mon hésitation, la femme enchaîne rapidement en anglais. J'avais mon dessin avec moi, j'étais prête, le rendez-vous a été disponible 40 minutes après mon arrivée. Je me suis fait tatouer par Ramone, calme et professionnel. Je me suis senti en confiance. Je ressors du salon pour régler les frais, quel n'est pas ma surprise d'entendre la femme parler Français! Ma langue maternelle. J'ai donc conclu le tout en Français, en plein contrôle des informations qu'on me donne pour le soin du tattoo. Avant de partir, elle me dit de ne pas me gêner et de leur écrire via Instagram s'il y a quoique ce soit. Avec la chaleur, ma pellicule protectrice ce decollait aisément, j'ai donc pris une chance de leur écrire pour demander conseil. En moins de 20 minutes j'avais une réponse! Ils m'ont offert de reappliquer une nouvelle pellicule, et m'en ont remis une "au cas", sans frais. Je vous remercie pour votre humanisme, votre professionnalisme et votre disponibilité. Je recommande avec fierté.

Die Frau am Empfang war super freundlich und hat sich direkt um mich gekümmert. Nach nur wenigen Minuten Wartezeit konnte ich schon loslegen. Experiencia fantástica: Got my first tattoo hear!!! The crew was so kind and patient, especially when I was pacing around and freaking out hahaha. I paid 150 and tipped 30 because I was just so satisfied with the final result. Some would say that’s a bit pricy for a first tattoo, but a Barcelona studio, with a prime spot in the Gothic Quarter, a custom quote in a clean font, medium size, in a high-end shop like Meatshop Tattoo — the price was satisfactory for what I got. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking to get a tattoo while in Barcelona. Whether it’s your first or your 21st, Meatshop Tattoo will do your tat justice.

Experiencia fantástica: It’s been a while since I got my sleeve finished back in January, but I couldn’t let more time pass without showing love to Pepo and his shop again. The second half of my sleeve turned out even more incredible than I could have imagined full of detail. It perfectly complements the first half he did, and now the full sleeve flows like a complete work of art. Pepo isn’t just a great artist he’s a true friend. I was only in Barcelona for a single day but he still made time to meet up not even for a session, just to catch up and take some pictures. Love the guy If you’re thinking about getting inked in Barcelona, this is your shop. Pepo is consistent, detail obsessed, and passionate about what he does. I trust his vision 100% I didn’t even tell him what to do I just said Japanese traditional and let him choose the details. and I’d do it all over again without hesitation.

Experiencia fantástica: I booked an appointment at Meatshop Tattoo after seeing them on Google Maps while looking for hotels & being intrigued by their name. Alice was super helpful throughout the booking process via email and was very responsive. My appointment was with Steff for a fine line tattoo and she did such an amazing job!! Steff made sure that the tattoo was something I loved and loved the placement of before putting the needle to skin. I've received so many compliments since being back in the US and am SO so happy with her work. If you're visiting or in Barcelona and looking for a fine line tattoo artist and a clean, cool studio, I'd 100% recommend Steff and Meatshop.

Experiencia fantástica: I truly love this place. A group of us came in wanting tattoos as walkins and they were able to fit all of us in. Not only that but it didn’t feel rushed at all. They took their time to ensure everything was perfect. We can be over baring people with lots of questions but they were perfect and the kindest souls. The tattoos turned out beautiful would definitely come here again! Joan was a great artist and very patient!

The vibe in the shop was super cool, and the staff were all incredibly friendly. My tattoo artist, Ramon, was both professional and approachable. He worked with the reference I sent and customized the design exactly how I wanted. I’m beyond satisfied with the result! Experiencia fantástica: Loved this tattoo shop! I collect tattoos from different artists around the globe, and after some research on tattoo shops in Barcelona, decided on Meatshop tattoo. I showed up as a walkin around 11am, was greeted by the very friendly owner who speaks English with a British accent, was provided a book of flash tattoos from the available artist, Ram, and was done and finished within 2-3 hours for a relatively large sized tattoo. My artist was phenomenal. His line work was super clean, he was very professional, and his station was spotless. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Experiencia fantástica: Increible.... uno de los mejores y mas emotivos tatuajes que me he hecho en la vida. A pesar de que salimos con los amigos de juerga un Lunes, terminamos ahi el Martes a medio dia y no recuerdo como me lo hice ni porque, el artista supo representar perfectamente lo que significa la amistad. El tatoo es un tanto vergonzoso y sereno no me lo habria hecho. Por suerte esta en uno de esos sitios que solo se ven si los quieres enseñar o si vas a una playa naturalista. Pero me alegro mucho de haber terminado ahi y no en otro sitio. Un 10 sobre 5. No les pongo mas estrellas por que no puedo. Espero volver a ser vuestro lienzo! La siguiente vez decidire yo que y donde Gracias!!

Experiencia positiva: Bruker ikke nok tid sammen med kundene. Både meg og kjæresten min følte det fikk for fort under planleggingen . Resultatet ble derfor ikke som vi ønsket. Hadde tatovøren hatt referanse bilde foran seg så hadde resultatet blitt bedre. De vil også bare ha kontanter ved betaling

Experiencia fantástica: De passage à Barcelone, j’avais envie d’un tatouage bien précis. A l’accueil nous avons eut l’agréable surprise que l’on nous parle en français. La tatoueuse « Stéphanie » m’a mise en confiance malgré le « barrage » de la langue et à la fin de mes vacances j’y suis retournée pour un autre tatouage ☺️. Ambiance très sympathique, très propre, de nombreux tatoueurs. 6 mois après j’y suis retournée pour une petite retouche et un nouveau tatouage. Je recommande à 1000%

Experiencia fantástica: It was on my bucket list to get a tattoo while visiting Barcelona and I couldn’t have had a more amazing experience. When researching popular shops in the area before my trip I found almost every comment mention Meatshop. I was not expecting to be seen for a walk in with a custom design so quickly. All of the staff was incredibly nice and the artist, Steffe, absolutely killed it. Steffe was so sweet and a great conversationalist. I was so blown away by the finished product. If I could fly out here from the states for all my future tattoos I absolutely would.

Experiencia fantástica: El estudio es genial, el pasaje donde se ubica y el propio local. Fui para hacerme un par de tatuajes con Jara (seguidla en @mierditattoos porque son geniales) y fue todo perfecto. Tenia los diseños listos, ayudo a decidir donde tatuarlos y el proceso fue super comodo y rapido.

Experiencia fantástica: Tatoo shop magnifique, la décoration est incroyable. J'ai personnellement eu une séance de tatoos avec steffe, qui est adorable. Une vraie pipelette avec qui j'ai pu discuter de tout, de quoi faire paraître le temps moins long. Elle s'est assuré du début à la fin de mon état et de mon confort. De plus c'est un endroit rempli de tatoueurs de tout lieux et c'est très chouette car vous pouvez y entendre parler plein de langue.

Experiencia fantástica: Hace tres semanas más o menos fuí voluntaria o modelo de piercing en Meatshop, donde Jara la profe es súper genial y las dos chicas que estaban aprendiendo super buenas, hicieron un trabajo excelente, ya ni me duelen los pendientes, y como me porté muy bien me dieron una piruleta. El local es precioso por dentro y por fuera y todos súper agradables.
